Harendra Shah was born in Indore in 1954. He graduated in Arts and at present teaching art in Indore. He has held more than 15 solo exhibitions in all over the country including Delhi, Madras, Mumbai and Calcutta. He also participated in several group shows and art camps in India and Bangladesh, Nepal and Srilanka.
He is famous for his color compositions and abstract forms. He has got the Bhart Bhawan Binnaele award in 1996 and winner of state Lalit Kala Akademi award Madhya pradesh. His works are in collection with Bharat Bhawan, Lalit Kala Akadmi, National Gallery of Modern Art and many private collectors in India and abroad.
