Born and brought up in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, Chitrakar is one of the trend setting artists of the Indian art scene. He has painted Radha Krishna in various forms and poses. He has also successfully used gems in his art works. Recipient of the Padmashree for his lifelong contribution to traditional Indian art, he lives in Mathura.
