L. Dinanath was born in Rajasthan and settled in Mumbai. He was a freedom fighter and his art was an effective and expressive voice against the British regime. He was a cartoonist too. He traveled all over the country with Mahatma Gandhi. His works can be found in the Baroda Museum and National Art Gallery, Mumbai.
