Ludmilla Chakraborty was born in Russia. She began painting early, but took it up seriously while she was working as a lecturer of English at the University of Yver, Russia. Her paintings are there in the Russian and Israeli Embassies in Delhi and in private collections in Russia, USA, Canada, England, Germany, Israel and other countries. Now India's diverse culture; her picturesque landscape and vibrant colors are a big inspiration for her.
