PAINTING PROFILE

Art awareness and I

An artiste needs a medium to express him or her feelings. Similarly I too have chosen inanimate objects as a subject to express my inner feelings. I have found life in inanimate subjects, like when ever I am riding a bicycle, at that time to me it seems like a delicate flower and instead of looking solid it feels as soft as foam because it gives me pleasure. Whenever I am riding on it I forget about time as well as distance. Similarly whenever I paint, colours acquire same lucidity, whether the surface is a canvas or a wall or paper when I paint I am completely immersed in the process of expressing myself.

To give shape to my feelings I used realistic mode and right technique to present the subject. Along with a balance in form and composition and a studied play of the brush for depicting lines I have taken special care to maintain the flow of colour in my paintings. I have simplified the subject and brought them into being with the help of creative composition and filling the sketch with flat paints.

The desire to learn various creative forms and techniques and giving a solid form to my own feelings remains as strong as ever.
