Sarab was born in Ludhiana in 1962 and completed her graduation from Ludhiana in 1982. She has about five solo exhibitions and plenty of group exhibitions on her record. She also held a solo exhibition in Birmingham U.K. Her works were auctioned in Christie's auction in Mumbai 2001, selected for 44th annual art exhibition Lalit Kala Akademi New Delhi.
