Born and bought up in Delhi, she graduated in art from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. She has held 2 solo exhibitions in Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi in addition to participating in many group shows. She was awarded the Youth Artist award from the Delhi State Academy of Art.
