"Folk Impressions" is a solo exhibition of paintings at PBC Art Gallery by Madhu Jain. Madhu Jain is the recipient of many National and International awards and her paintings have been auctioned both in India and abroad to raise money for trauma situations like earthquakes etc. Charity Institutions like HelpAge, Muskaan and WWF have selected her paintings to make their New Year cards in the past years.

Madhu Jain presently paints 'nihonga' - the eco-friendly medium of rock mineral pigments on hand made paper. Though this technique originated in India centuries ago, it travelled to the Far East and got adopted there. She studied and researched this technique in Tokyo for 4 years and has adopted it to her own style of painting, projecting the vivacity and diversity of Indian traditions and culture.

PBC Art Gallery presents her recent paintings on Rajasthan folk life titled "Folk Impressions". The paintings are created with rock pigments, natural minerals, shells, corals, semi precious stones, gold and silver that have a unique depth, dimension, texture and seem to come alive with the brilliance of these pigments.
