‘Impressions’ is a solo exhibition of paintings at PBC Art Gallery by Ludmilla Chakrabarty.
She has held series of solo and group shows in Russia and few shows in Delhi. Her inspiration has been India’s diverse culture, picturesque landscape and vibrant colours.
She mainly uses oil and acrylics for her paintings. Her deep involvement, as an artist, creative art designer and practitioner has left an indelible mark in the art world. Executed in diversified medium her paintings are marked by experimental techniques vivifying new ideas.
Ludmilla says, "Impressions, They are so numerous, because of the abundance of life itself. Each side of life is a new page for the endless journal through its journey with lots of things to do, to say & to see, we often miss out on many of them. My present exhibition, called 'Impressions' is another attempt to reflect some of my impressions on canvas so that, fragile & evasive tho' they might seem, they could leave a mark on my memory of today" |
