Job Description:

• Oversee operations of Engineering department including fire protection and safety.
• Responsible for administration, implementation of all operational and control systems for the smooth functioning of department to ensure service delivery in accordance with specified.
• Responsible for Quality Planning, document and data control, control of standards and codes and Quality records.
• To define and monitor service specification along with Quality Assurance.
• Service identification and traceability.
• Ensure to carry out complete preventive maintenance systems for all areas and to ensure that the work is carried out continuously, with the least inconvenience to the clients and staff.
• Ensure effective handling of customer requests and complaints.
• Ensure corrective and preventive action.
• Responsible for purchasing and evaluation of subcontractors for Engineering and Safety department.
• Monitor sub contracted services to ensure conformance to specific requirement of services quality.
• Staff selection and training of Engineering and Safety Staff.
• Responsible for making annual budgets.
• Ensuring compliance to statutory requirements.
• Implementation of Environment Management Systems relating to the department.
• Billing details and accounts receivables.
• Ensuring safety, reliability and security of equipment.
• Ensure Contract review for engineering services.
• Ensure Energy conservation.
• Any other related work assigned by the management from time to time.

Desired Profile
Education: B.E.Electrical/Mechanical
Experience: 8-10 in the relevant field. Retired Merchant Navy / VRS personnel preferred.
