PBC Art Gallery
Set amidst the enchanting Nehru Place Greens in the PBC™-STIP is the PBC Art Gallery, which has evolved as a landmark for connoisseurs and collections of art.

PBC Art Gallery has touched and brought life to every shade of today, from ordinary life paintings to landscapes to the struggling spirit of the deprived sections of the human race.

PBC Art Gallery reflects the social commitment of our organization towards society. Our share of proceeds from the art exhibitions at PBC Art Gallery are directed towards various social causes, especially environmental. PBC Art Gallery acts as a platform to many national and international upcoming artists to showcase their works.

In the month of October 2005, PBC Art Gallery showcased a unique and compelling collection of photo art and sculptures by Ms. Frida Steinberger, an Israel based artist. The theme of her exhibition - "Manta Ray Beach" depicts a socially relevant message of love and non-violence amongst people. Each piece of art form reflected a peaceful coexistence of people from different social strata's and religions of Manta Ray Beach.

As part of our consistent effort to promote art, PBC Art Gallery sponsored Mr. Dipto Narayan Chattopadhaya's trip to Romania. He travelled with H.E. Vice President of India, Mr. Bhairo Singh Shekhawat to Bucharest.

During the two weeks in Bucharest, Dipto conducted a workshop to promote Indian art and exhibited forty two of his artworks at the National Theatre Complex and the Union Artist Gallery.

PBC acknowledges all the support and encouragement extended by H.E. Mr. Vasile Sofaneti, Ambassador, Embassy of Romania and his staff.

In India Dipto's exhibition was unveiled at the Indo-Romanian Cultural Program at the home of our CEO, at Prithviraj Road, New Delhi, where artists from Romania performed Bharatrnatyam and played sitar. A mix of Romanian and Indian food and drinks was served to the guests.

The venue became a colourful confluence of Indian and Romanian culture. During the event H. E. Mr. Vasile Sofineti, the Romanian Ambassador, who was also the co-host said, "Both countries have a very rich heritage and it is interesting to see how artists found solace in the art forms of foreign countries.

In the month of February, PBC Art Gallery showcased the works of two budding artists, Mr. Pradeep Kumar and Mr. Mohammed T. Alam. It was a great success.

Pradeep did his schooling from London and is a trained artist. Despite his hearing impairment he has completed his Masters in Fine Arts from the Delhi College of Art and specializes in acrylic, oil, watercolors and murals.

Mohammed is a self-taught artist. He was born in Gaya. His paintings have a religious and cultural influence. He specializes in abstract, contemporary and figurative style and uses oil and acrylic as a medium for his works.

PBC Art Gallery has also introduced a unique concept of 'Rent a work of Art' through which art lovers can get works displayed at their offices or residence, as they choose to.
